Donkeys!

In our meetings and planning sessions the concern about coyotes had been raised more than once.  Regionally, ranchers keep donkeys as a protector in the field against coyotes and they swear by them.  So when Ned came across a Facebook ad for a donkey and her female foal for a shockingly reasonable price, we jumped on it.  Turns out the owner’s horses had been terrorizing the donkeys.  Out of care for the donkeys she had decided to sell as quickly as possible.  Ned sent across a screenshot of the ad and we all said, “YES!”  So now, we are the proud owners of two donkeys, who have been dubbed Maybelle and Hattie.  After not hearing from him for a little bit, we asked if he was too late.
